Where has this record been hiding all my life!? I have always been a huge fan of the late great Andy Sojka aka Atmosfear who made one of the greatest and most well known space-disco-funk tracks 'Dancing In Outer Space' which sounds as good today as it was when it was first released in 1979.
The only Automation single I have heard is the "cover version" of Dancing In Outer Space with keyboardist Garry Hudson which is a killer "version" of his own track.
This is one of the best versions of the 2001 Richard Strauss theme I have ever heard, just sounds so ahead of its time, its unbelievable that it not a considered a total classic, has to be one of the most under-rated singles of the eighties!
